Super Frenzy Cross Announces Kickstarter for Puzzle-Fighting Hybrid
Chuby Games Studios seeks $6,851 for final development, with four-player local multiplayer advertised and delivery estimated for May 2027.
Chuby Games Studios has announced a Kickstarter campaign for Super Frenzy Cross, a competitive puzzle game that pairs falling-block strategy with fighting mechanics. The studio says it is seeking $6,851 by December 31, 2026, to help finish development.
According to the studio's release, clearing rows attacks opponents by sending blocks onto their boards, while parries and counterattacks bring fighting-game mechanics into the puzzle contest. The advertised features include 10 fighters, 16 game modes and local multiplayer for up to four players. Those features have not been independently tested.
The studio also lists accessibility options including a dedicated colorblind mode, symbols on game pieces, adjustable text settings and fully customizable controls.
Created by Andrés Benedicto, Super Frenzy Cross is already playable from start to finish, the studio says. The campaign is intended to fund remaining work on its soundtrack, voice acting, character expansion, balancing and localization, rather than the initial construction of the base game.
The announcement advertises a digital-copy reward starting at approximately $17 (€15). The studio estimates delivery in May 2027, but that is not a guaranteed release date.
