Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Switch trial ends September 30; sale runs longer
Nintendo Switch Online members have a limited window to try the full Nintendo Switch version of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown at no additional game-trial cost. In its September 23 announcement, Nintendo News sets access from September 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT through September 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
The offer has two separate deadlines. Temporary access ends in September. A digital purchase discount continues into October, giving players time after the trial closes to decide whether to buy.
What you keep, and when the sale ends
Nintendo says players who purchase the game during or after the offer will keep all their save data. That lets trial progress carry into a purchased copy. The trial itself does not grant permanent ownership.
The digital version is also 70% off at Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store through October 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Nintendo's US announcement displayed an $8.99 sale price against a $29.99 regular price when captured. Those are US page prices; this report does not establish pricing elsewhere.
The later sale deadline does not extend trial access. If you plan to try the game before making a purchase decision, September 30 is the date that matters for playing under this offer.
Check membership before signing up
Nintendo Switch Online membership is required and sold separately. The announcement does not specify an Expansion Pack requirement.
Nintendo also points readers toward an optional seven-day membership trial. Its footnote says that trial converts automatically to a one-month renewing membership at the then-current price unless canceled. Accounts with an active Individual or Family Membership cannot redeem it, and it cannot be redeemed for an Expansion Pack membership. Availability varies by country. Starting a membership trial later does not move the game's September 30 cutoff.
