Trigun Stampede Roleplay Announced With Free PDF Quickstart
The licensed tabletop RPG offers an introduction to its reworked Resistance System ahead of planned Kickstarter crowdfunding.
Trigun Stampede Roleplay has been announced, and publisher Mana Project Studio lists a free English PDF quickstart for groups interested in the anime’s tabletop adaptation. The 69-page introduction, titled Press Play, offers rules and an adventure ahead of the game’s planned Kickstarter campaign.
Based on Studio Orange’s anime, the officially licensed RPG is licensed by Crunchyroll and published by Mana Project Studio and Don’t Panic Games. According to Tabletop Sentinel, the announcement took place during the Crunchyroll Showcase at Lucca Comics & Games on October 31, 2026.
Mana Project Studio says Press Play includes core Resistance System rules reworked for No Man’s Land. Its ready-to-play scenario, Escape from Juniper, is designed for three to six players plus a game master and is intended to last up to two sessions.
The listed contents also include five pre-generated characters, group and settlement sheets, quick references, Fallout tables and safety tools. For the table itself, the publisher calls for polyhedral dice from d4 to d20 and about five d10s. Groups planning for the scenario’s maximum of six players should note that the listed pre-generated roster contains only five characters.
The publisher describes a storytelling premise built around survival, unlikely friendships and compassion amid violence. That framing presents compassion as a difficult choice rather than treating violence alone as the attraction, though it is a statement of the game’s intended themes, not an assessment of how its adventures play.
The quickstart and the full game’s crowdfunding plans are separate milestones. Mana Project Studio links to a Kickstarter notification page, while Tabletop Sentinel reports a first-quarter 2027 campaign window. The outlet says an exact launch date, pricing and physical-edition details have not been announced.
