Cyberpunk TCG Launches Internationally With Weekly Organized Play
CD PROJEKT RED reports starter decks and boosters are widely available, with regional tournaments planned for Chicago and Warsaw.
Cyberpunk Trading Card Game officially launched internationally on November 6, 2026, bringing broader retail availability and weekly organized-play support, according to CD PROJEKT RED. The company says starter decks, booster boxes and booster packs are now widely available, expanding access beyond the game's earlier Kickstarter-backed play sessions.
Developed by WeirdCo, the card game features characters from CD PROJEKT RED's Cyberpunk 2077 franchise. Its official release is not players' first opportunity to play: stores had already been running weekly sessions for backers who received cards through Kickstarter.
For local play, CD PROJEKT RED announced Night City Brawl events at game stores worldwide, with special promotional cards available to participants. These events form part of the launch's weekly organized-play support; the company's broad availability announcement should not be taken as confirmation of stock at any particular shop.
The competitive schedule also includes two planned Edgerunner Open Regionals: Chicago in December 2026 and Warsaw in January 2027. The announcement did not give exact dates or venues, leaving those details unresolved for players considering a trip.
Readers weighing the artwork's suitability should note the intent behind one illustration. In the official art blog, illustrator Ricardo Padierne Silvera says he wanted viewers to see the blood and gore in his Mantis Blades illustration and think it looked cool. That goes beyond simply acknowledging a depiction of violence: his stated aim was to make its gore appealing. This is a concern about that particular illustration, not evidence of the entire game's moral stance or a basis for assigning it an overall content rating.
