Games Workshop has put the Ogor Mawtribes in the center of this week's Warhammer Age of Sigmar preview. The official Warhammer Community post says the Army Set includes a Tyrant, two Maulbeast Cavalry, three Ironguts, 10 Gluttons, Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes, and 52 warscroll cards.

Wargamer separately covered the reveal and noted how long Ogre players have waited for a modern refresh. That matters because an army set is not a casual add-on. It can become the moment a player starts, restarts, or expands a faction.

What to do with this news

The better family question is simple: is this a planned army project or a hype purchase? A boxed army release can be a great way to focus a hobby budget. It can also create pressure to buy quickly before scarcity and fear of missing out take over.

If someone at your table loves Ogors, this is worth watching. Just make the decision before the preorder rush, not during it. Talk through painting time, storage space, and what current armies or games will be displaced.
