Naruto Card Game Targets June 2027 Worldwide Launch, Store Demos Start in February
Bandai plans three Starter Decks, a debut booster pack and opportunities to try the trading card game before release.
Bandai announced at New York Comic Con that NARUTO CARD GAME is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide launch in June 2027. Players will have a chance to try the trading card game ahead of release through store demos planned to begin in February 2027.
The launch lineup includes three Starter Decks led by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara. Bandai says each deck comes preconstructed with all the cards needed to start playing, giving newcomers a ready-made entry point rather than requiring them to build a deck first.
The first booster pack, Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!, is slated to arrive alongside those decks. According to Bandai, it will feature characters from both NARUTO and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN.
The Premier Demo Events will initially run at select large-scale stores participating in BANDAI TCG+, with additional stores planned for a second wave. Bandai also plans a separate global campaign beginning in spring 2027 to distribute a total of 1 million Demo Decks.
Bandai also announced two advance-release products: the Official Playmat - NARUTO VS. SASUKE - and Premium Card Collection Vol.00 - CHAKRA Set. Their availability will be limited to Premier Demo Events and select BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST 26-27 events.
Players looking to attend a demo will need to wait for the practical details. The announcement does not list participating stores, specific event dates, registration instructions or purchase procedures. Bandai says those details, along with further product-availability information, will be announced later.
