Kingdom Come Board Game Targets Essen Release, Retail No Earlier Than Q2 2027
CGE’s event guide lists the English-language adaptation, while second-wave preorder deliveries are planned for early 2027.
CGE has scheduled Kingdom Come: Deliverance – The Board Game for release at Essen SPIEL 2026, but buyers waiting for general retail face a longer wait. The publisher says it will not have enough copies for retail availability before Q2 2027, with second-wave preorder deliveries targeted for earlier in the year.
The official tabletop adaptation is a partnership between CGE and Warhorse Studios, with Tomáš Holek and Vlaada Chvátil credited as its designers. CGE describes a deck-building game built around card-based skill tests, hero progression across five game days and an emphasis on player freedom and choices.
CGE’s October 5 event guide includes the game in its Hall 3, Booth 3V400 lineup and specifies that it is English-only. The list groups together games offered for sale, demo or preview without identifying each title’s category, so that listing alone does not confirm copies will be available to buy at the booth. For Essen pick-up orders, the guide gives a collection deadline of noon on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the same booth.
The second preorder wave has a separate timetable. CGE said that wave opened on September 9, 2026, and would remain open while stock lasted; the announcement does not establish whether stock remains available as of October 21. The publisher plans to begin producing those copies at the beginning of December 2026.
For second-wave orders, CGE targets EU-store deliveries for the first half of Q1 2027 at the latest, Canadian deliveries for Q1 2027, and US-store deliveries for the second half of Q1 2027 at the latest. Those are the publisher’s planned delivery windows, distinct from both the announced Essen release and its later retail timetable.
