Games Workshop announces Necromunda: Roleplay with bounty-hunter missions
EN World reports a miniatures-focused RPG with roll-under d100 rules, 18 new models and compatibility with the existing Necromunda range.
Games Workshop has announced Necromunda: Roleplay, a miniatures-focused tabletop RPG set on Necromunda, according to EN World's Christian Hoffer. The project pairs bounty-hunter missions with support for the existing Necromunda miniature range, giving players who already collect those models a potential new use for them.
Players portray bounty hunters taking missions from an Arbitrator, the game's equivalent of a Game Master. EN World describes a bespoke system built primarily around a d100: attacks and other checks succeed when the player rolls below a target number.
The reported Core Set contents include 18 new miniatures and a 224-page rulebook. Compatibility with the wider Necromunda miniature range is a useful detail for existing collectors, although that report does not establish how individual models will be supported in the rules.
Roleplay should not be confused with the separate Necromunda Skirmish Core Set. Games Workshop's August 1, 2026 pre-order article described that box as featuring clashes between House Escher and House Goliath amid Factoria Pipes terrain. Those are details of the Skirmish product, not the reported Roleplay box.
